I don't know how many of you have seen this one. I do think he looks absolutely gorgeous in this film. Especially at the begining when his sister is taking her first set of photographs, and it cuts to him watching her, drooool. ;D
Does anyone own this film on DVD or video. I can't buy it anywhere, and it's driving me crazy.

L~K is this the picture you love? (although you've probably found it by now hee.) Sure is...thanks SGQ. No matter how many times I've seen it I never tire of looking at it. It's one of those pictures that's like a painting and can represent so much. Just without all the writing. ;D

I just watched this again last night!! Once again i cried somemore.I already miss Roy aaaawww Roy him and his goofy songs. I liked " We are family me and my sister we going to take a bath and i hope I don't pee" That was funny!! There is just something about him,him and his b*itchy attitude. If you haven't seen this you got to even if you can only watch it once He should of gotten something for his performance in this movie.

It iddnt play on my playstion or pc. so now I ahv a dvd player...
And tried again and it played...
Even with japanese subtitles.LOL
It is a wonderfulmoive..yer very tearful...it is meant to be a fictious film , butit says at the end for my brother roy. So there must of been some truth in the moive.
I like the bath part too..I lov how his sister had compassion...

I actually watched this movie yesterday. I bought it before Christmas and the funny thing is that I almost didn't buy it at all. Something was telling me to buy it though. I swear Kiefer was calling out to me to buy it, so I gave in.
I agree, he plays gay very well. I know its not a comedy, but I find myself laughing at certain scenes just because of his actions or his dialogue. For example, when he's filling out the forms in the hospital and he's reading them off as he goes along he goes "weight loss?....I wish!" I don't know why but I laugh at that every time! LOL
I think Kiefer is the best part of this movie. The script was great, and the acting was great, but I don't think I would have liked it so much had it not been for Kiefer's brilliant performance.

Yer I agree Kiefer did a good. I also think that their dad if he wasnt so terrifing and uncaring, when she went into the shop after 15years.Then sympathy for her wouldnt be there. Also the lov of her friend, also made this film believable.
I thought Roy ws very lucky to hav a sister as caring as she was. When he was such a 'uphimself' person..
I also liked the way she recognised what a teacher Roy was...
best bit when he in Bed and just before he cries and those eyelashes get me everytime.LOL

I am really sorry for disrupting a chat like this, as it looks as though it was in pretty good flow; but as it is to do with this film in question, and I couldn't find anywhere else to put it, I thought this might be the best place...... It's just a computer "Nerd's" song, to the tune of "Home on The Range" - as heard in "Behind The Red Door". www.getamused.com/jokes/011387.html Did make me chuckle though.....
