taking lives is coming out march 19th here in the usa i am sooo going to see it next weekend!

Just returned from Taking Lives. I don't like Ethan Hawke and I'm not particularly fond of Angelina Jolie. So, it's a good thing that the movie was good, 'cause Kiefer is in it a total of about three minutes. Maybe. That's all of his scenes added together.

My point is this: even though Kiefer wasn't in it but a few minutes and I'm not fond of the two major actors, I still enjoyed the movie very much. Olivier Martinez is certainly a looker. Yum. So, the movie was good, suspenseful.

One thing that's not a spoiler, just a Kiefer moment. I know how some of you adore K-man's eyelashes. Near the beginning of the movie, there is a short scene where someone is putting contact lenses in. Extreme close up of the eyes and you KNOW to whom they belong, right? Incredibly long, thick, golden lashes on a huge movie screen. That oughta do it for you eyelash lovers.

Go see the movie. If you like action and suspense, you'll enjoy it. Pamela

I saw TL yesterday! I thought it was an awesome movie, although I wished Kiefer had been in it more! However, he looked so gorgeous!! The eyelash part was amazing....no doubt who they belonged to, INDEED!
Kiefer was great in this movie! He really knows how to steal a scene. I highly recommend seeing it!

I saw this movie today.Awesome movie.And a bonus my husband like the movie too. I love psychological movies.I do wish Kiefer was in it more but i recommand everyone to see it so they can see are man on the big screen.Yumm

wow guys. Normally I wont visit a thread that dotn wasnt spoilers on...

I also wasnt going to se this film cos knew kiefer wasnt in it much.
But having read the 'eyelash' scene gotttttaaa gooo..I in lov with those eyelashes..awwwwwwwwww

i just got myself a crappy quality version of this film - i didn't want to wait for it to come to aus, and i hardly go to the cinema neway..!
even though it was a clever plot, i personally didn't like it that much...
i certainatly don't mind ethan, and i def. lurve kiefer, but i still didn't find it that enjoyable - maybe if there was more kiefer i'd like it more..

i hope i don't spoil nething by saying this, but my understanding that this was actually ethan...being that he's well....u noe - i can't say..but u'd noe if u see the movie

I can see where it might seem that those wouldn't be Kiefer's eyes. I've seen K-man's eyes a lot and I really believe that the opening scene eye shots are of his eyes.

But the plot really does support, indirectly, that they're Kiefer's eyes. The lashes are blonde. Ethan has dark hair and lashes. Remember, the pics of Ethan's character when a child showed him as a blond. Hence, before he dyed hair and lashes he'd have been blond.

hart doesn't need glasses though, so why do we see this character putting in contact lenses? asher has always worn thick glasses, and we later see ethan in glasses just to push the point..
i must say my initial reaction was that it was kiefer - but i did notice that it wasn't his mouth...and from memory, it wasn't his hair either - was too dark, and kief is still blonde in this..

i think the intention is to set it up that it is hart - we never see enuf for it to actually be anyone in particular...but i still believe that it's sposed to be asher..

but i do think that you have to take the plot into account, as they really culd be ne1..! which is wot i think the producers wanted...u to think it's kiefer..but then wen u see the movie, u realise it's not

anyway, you get the idea - it's not really clear as to who it is...but i think they want this..even in the movie poster, the person behind AJ has a blurry face..!

maybe they used both kiefer and ethan cos they knew that the fans wuld pick them, so they had kiefers eyes and ethans mouth so it's no one in particular..! lol

Been gone for a few days. So, just now seeing the posts. Couldn't access the screen caps though.

Anyway, I didn't mean that the eyes at the beginning belonged to K's character. I meant they used Kiefer because his eyes and hair fit Ethan's character's supposed real looks before he changed for yet a zillionth time.

So, see what I mean? Not Kiefer's character. Just Kiefer because he fit what they needed.

yer - i see what you mean now...i know when i first saw it i thought 'hey, they're kiefer's eyes'..but wen i saw the mouth it really threw me off and made me confused

i thought you meant kiefer as in hart
you think this is what the director/s wanted us to be confused...i get the feeling this is part of the whole plann..!
