Tattoos

I saw a wirelike & some Chinese looking figure on one of his arms...
Can you ladies tell me what his tattoos are ('cos I couldnt figure 'em out )?

Ok lets see....in all he was about 1..2..3......6 tattoos in total at the moment that we know about ()

Please draw your attention to Exhibit A

Here you can see on his upper left arm, his Scottish family crest, which when his daughter was born, he added her name to.

Just below, on his left arm, you can see some barbed wire, which also has since been updated to look like Exhibit B in the shape of grape vines.

Now for his right arm...

If you now could draw your attention to Exhibit C you will see on his right arm another arm band, it is said that it is a celtic arm band of some sort...though I could be mislead in getting it confused with something else...if anyone has any thought on the matter, please voice their thought.

Now, Exhibit D, here you will see two different tattoos. The top one is a chinese symbol representing the word "strength", it has been confused to mean "seek truth" elsewhere, but through investigation I have found out that it does infact mean "strength of heart". This tattoo was a representation of his love and affection and how "strong" it was when he had his relatioship with a Miss. Julia Roberts (please note the little heart in the center of the symbol, this is not part of the chinese symbol in general). Side Note: Ignore the tattoo you see on his lower arm as it is fake.

The tattoo just below that is of a dagger and chinese symbols, I believe it was added after the departure of Miss. Roberts, in which he had added as he felt betrayed when she ran off with his best friends days before their marital commitment ceremony. But, again I may be mistaken by the meaning of this tattoo. I am unable to determine the translation of the chinese symbols at this moment...purhaps this is what Kiefer follower's class as the "seek truth" part of the tattoo.

And lastly, ladies of the loving Kiefer nature, I present the latest edition of the human doodle that is Mr. Kiefer Sutherland, Exhibit E .

This tattoo came into being when 24 had written a story line that in the time between series 2 and 3, Jack had been doing some undercover work with a drug gang, and while he was doing this he needed to get the tattoo done. While filming series 3 Kiefer was becoming annoyed that every few minutes or so the make-up artists would have to re-apply as the thing would get smudged while he was working, plus the lengthy time that it took to put the thing on in the first place. So as the tattoo grew to Kiefer's liking, he finally decided that he would get it actually tattooed onto his left/lower/inside part of his arm.

Ladies of the loving Kiefer nature, I hope this come's to some great help when wanting information on the tattoos of the golden god like icon!

It's just stuff I've come to know since I've been a fan. From things I've heard Kiefer say in interviews and stuff. What others have said etc....te he he. I bet he'd freak out if he was to see all that...lol.

was actually just doing my own research on his tattoos after reading the playboy interview...

he said that the other band was the maori band of lif which he got when he was in new zealand, and i also discovred that ms. roberts also shares the same 'strength' symbol as our kiefer, on her left shoulderblade - how sweet, they got matching tattoos

that large tattoo we see in s.3 of 24 is 'our lady of guadalupe' (sp?), which he says represents the neighbourhood in which he lives...
i should try n do a screen cap of it, if anyone is interested..

Yeah he has a lot of tatoos , but they're fit to him..I don't like having tatoos on me... But Kiefer looks good

Yes it is. And I don't regret getting it done so far (I got it done the day after boxing day).

That's cool L~K. Thats the one that inspired me to get another one done. I chose japanese/chinese symbols too.(I can't remember which mine are!) Mine reads "true love" and I got it on my upper arm where Kiefer's strength one is.

Mine's exactly the same as his in the same place too on my upper left arm. I love it! Still! LOL! I wanna get another-one done!
